I've been working hard to complete all of my work to the best of my ability for the first & second Unit assessment, looking back at previous blocks & trying to improve anything I could & its finally over.I was actually quite shocked at the size of my folder the night before, I had no clue I could ever produce that amount of work in such a short space of time. I've handed it all in! fingers crossed all my hard work was worth it.
Just received our brief for the new project 'Transition' the title sort of scared me to begin with but when I read the brief it all became clear and im now feeling really excited about starting the research side of it.
Its a paired project & I'm working with Vanessa & although we are completely different people in the way we approach projects I am very hopeful that our styles will flow together.
We have already had our first meeting to discuss how we are going to approach this theme and we've agreed that we would focus on 'Natural Transition'.
Were not completely sure where this is going to take us yet but at the moment my initial reaction was plants & growth- maybe to death and decay but that side of the area is quite obvious and we don't want our project to be about flowers and leaves.
So on our next meeting were going to discuss how we can steer away from that side of the area to a more interesting and maybe scientific side.
