I decided to spent the day producing a collection of drawings for Pop-up2 using pencil, ink, fine liners, collage. I drew from the 3D paper manipulations that I made before the holiday because I thought my photographs would be interpreted quite well through drawings. I also made some line drawings and colour ink studies from my collection photographs. I spent some time putting my objects together in different ways and drawing the outlines only to create new and exciting shapes that I could use in my final two blocks. Also produced some zoom in drawings of sections in my collection that interest me most which I can hopefully interpret in my print and weave blocks.
