The photography induction wasn't too long, just a short 20min talk with us about the studio and how to book it for photo-shoots. Alex showed us a few photographs that he has done with textiles students in the past to give us an idea of what we could achieve.When you book the studio its usually for an hour, but if its a big project sometimes it can be stretched to a morning. if you don't own a camera they can be booked also.

Spent the day in the photography studio as well as the textiles studio discovering ways to take creative photographs using different lighting, creating shadow, and playing with shape.Groups of 10 used the photography studio.Thoroughly enjoyed the task today it was a lot of fun as well as work, trying to take good photos and making mistakes that actually turn out better than what I originally planned.
