I spent the day photographing my journey through the Parkland Walk nature reserve. I decided to create a video slideshow of all of the photographs I had taken. I have made sure the photographs do not deviate from the path so the viewer gets to visualise what it would be like if the railway journey was still running. I have taken a separate collection of photographs which zoom in and focus into areas of interest also- I will post these in a separate entry soon.
The video is made up of 500 images... one taken roughly every 10 steps of the walk- I got this idea from the geography project 'Urban Earth'. the photographs were all taken in one afternoon and took approx 2 hours to get to the end.
I have created this video using windows movie maker at 5 frames a second.
the video begins where the Alexandra Palace Station would have been and ends at Finsbury Park.
I chose not to include sound as I thought it might distract from the visuals. but I may choose later to add train sounds or the sound of joggers or something relating to it.
